Molly Folk

Wife of 'Black' Tom Folk

Description:
Bio:

Molly Folk is the daughter of Kal Folk & Tela Folk, she’s lived in Harps her whole life. Molly lived a simple life even with the harships of toil in the field, raids from the Black Woods, & politics by the leaders of Brook’s Glenn. Molly enjoyed her simple life until the night the Borni came.
That night the raid had less to do with finding food or gold or even goods, instead it was about terror. Molly’s father fought for the life of his wife and daughter but was no match for the Raider’s years of experience with a blade. He fell, as did Molly’s mother who threw herself on the blade to avoid what she saw as inevitable. Molly stood stunned and in shock as the Raider rougly through her to the ground and began to disrobe. She closed her eyes hoping to at least live through what she knew was going to happen next.
She only opened them when the splash of hot blood fell upon her face. She could barely make out the Borni who slayed her attacker. He deftly hid his form in the shadows, all she could see was the pain and fear in his eyes. Those eyes were burned into her.
For the next few years Molly would occassionally feel those eyes upon her, always watching, always protecting. Eventually she grew tired of this ceaseless ‘stalking’. Molly Folk strode into the encampment of five Borni warriors looking for her ‘Stalker’. The she met ‘Black’ Tom.
Tom & his men where debating on how to proceed as they had been drummed out of thier ‘clan’. Tom longed to make something and be something more than what he was, his cohorts where less inclined to walk his path. With Molly gripping his hand he turned his back on the Borni and returned with her to Harps.
It took three years for the people of Harps to accept Molly bringing a Borni into Harps. Three long years of Tom protecting them, spilling his blood for them, and giving his heart to Molly. Eventually the two married, ‘Black’ Tom took Molly’s last name since he claimed he had never had one of his own.
Over time Tom became not only a fixture of Harps but a leader of the community, but most if asked know while ‘Black’ Tom leads with a sword unmatched he is led by Molly.
